Pure Scottish Skincare was born out of a mother’s determination to help her daughter heal. Frustrated by store-bought creams full of harsh chemicals, I turned to nature—and discovered the transformative power of grass-fed tallow. What started as a remedy for acne quickly became a passion for creating simple, effective skincare made with ingredients I could trust.
Tallow has been used for centuries in traditional skincare, cherished by our ancestors for its deeply nourishing, skin-compatible properties. By returning to these time-honoured practices, we honour the wisdom of the past while creating products that truly work today.
Every product is handmade in small batches right here in Scotland, with no plastic, no nasties—just pure, wild botanicals and natural tallow that nourish and restore.

Our Tallow
Our tallow comes from Beef Suet (the fat around the cow's organs producing the most amount of vitamins) From grass-fed cows raised on small Scottish farms under some of the highest animal welfare standards in the world. Every batch of tallow we use is fully traceable—so we know exactly where it came from and how it was produced. These cows are never treated with growth hormones or unnecessary antibiotics, and their well-being is as important to us as the purity of our products.
